To the Faithful Departed

Sometime around the middle of the year 1998, a malnourished, underweight horse arrived at Wirraway. A rescue case from Gawler Sactuary, he had been picked out to do a job at Wirraway. I was fan - despite that fact that he looked like a hessian bag full of set squares. He quickly demonstrated that his temperament was right for the job but some other factors let him down and before long, he was for sale... quickly snapped up by me! So I became the proud owner of "Asparagus" aka "Gus".

Today, almost exactly 10 years later, I sold him.

I'm still a fan!
